Public Presentation

My recent public presentation of LENS.

Many years ago, a palm reader told me I would likely write an important book someday. By age 40, I had already lived through more than I could fit into a conventional novel, and I had no idea the next four decades would bring such profound change. When the book finally began to take shape, the Preface opened with the words, “There is no end to this story.” In hindsight, that intuitive line foreshadowed my transformation.

To provide a brief autobiographical foundation for the novel, I should begin with my first 40 years. As a young adult, my architectural education gave me the professional training that helped shape my talents as both an architect and a visionary. After graduating from the University of Illinois, I moved from Chicago to San Francisco with my new wife to pursue a new future. Eight years later, after dedicating myself to family and career, a long-held secret emerged and threatened my future through marital betrayal. Yet I refused to see myself as a victim. Instead, I set out on a path of self-realization. Over the decades, I came to understand who I was becoming as a spiritual being.

Over the past four years, I have woven my observations and the many sketches I made on vision quests abroad into my evolving story of self-realization, first foretold more than 40 years ago. Now, in the final stages of publication, my book, LENS: In the Blink of an Eye, reflects the metaphysical birth of a new frontier in my soul’s journey at age 86. Through this process, I have come to see beyond ordinary awareness into a transpersonal presence that extends past the limits of my usual understanding. My alignment with Unitive principles, as expressed by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, has sustained the co-creative spiritual path that began with the promise of a book long ago.

At the heart of the book, an interdimensional LENS emerges to look beneath the surface of understanding. It deepens my awareness of how consciousness shapes my worldview. From this perspective, darkness and light are transformed through the yin-yang interplay of energy woven through all creation. I see that energy growing in our hearts as we awaken to both our unity and our diversity within Creation’s infinite intelligence.

My book, LENS: In the Blink of an Eye, closes with these words: “Thank you, Beloved, for the keys to Heaven on Earth. There is no end in sight.” This story reflects my timeless journey through life, shared with all my relations here and beyond. I hope it inspires aspiring authors to tell their own stories in their own time.
